Mavericks of Time returns to Abu Dhabi on 29 and 30 October 2026 at Space42 Arena, organised by Ahmed Seddiqi in partnership with Abu Dhabi Retail. It brings together watchmakers who walk their own path, and it welcomes collectors, enthusiasts and beginners alike.

What to expect
This year's theme is "The Exchange". The event promises interactive reveals inside the Seddiqi Vault, personal styling sessions tailored to each visitor's taste, and gamified moments. No detailed schedule has been published yet.
Who is taking part
The official page spotlights four names: Greubel Forsey, H. Moser & Cie., Bovet and Universal Genève. It then lists others, including Ressence, De Bethune, Ulysse Nardin, Rexhep Rexhepi, Vyntage Horology, Daniel Roth, Urwerk, Gerald Genta, Girard-Perregaux, Gerald Charles, Laurent Ferrier, Chronoswiss, Speake-Marin, HYT, Vanguart, Konstantin Chaykin, Norqain, Nivada Grenchen and Atelier Wen. The list is taken from the page at the time of writing and may change.

Not the first edition
Mavericks of Time debuted in Abu Dhabi on 2 and 3 November 2024 at the same venue, then moved to the Museum of the Future in Dubai from 8 to 10 November. Fifteen brands took part and entry was free with online registration. The 2026 event page lists more than twenty names.
Why we are following it
