Every timepiece purchased through Malichus.com or an authorized Malichus retailer is protected under an enhanced and comprehensive warranty program designed to ensure long-term performance, reliability, and peace of mind.

1. Total Warranty Coverage — 5 Years

Each watch purchased from Malichus is covered by a combined five (5) years of warranty:

A. 2-Year International Manufacturer Warranty

Provided directly by ATOWAK or OLTO-8, this warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use.
The manufacturer warranty does not cover:

  • Straps, crystals, cases, crowns, finishes, or batteries

  • Wear and tear from daily use

  • Damage caused by misuse, impact, moisture intrusion outside water-resistance ratings, or unauthorized repairs

B. 3-Year Malichus Extended Service Warranty (Jordan Service Center)

As the official authorized regional center, Malichus provides an additional 3 years of free maintenance and service, including:

  • Mechanical inspection

  • Calibration and movement adjustments

  • General servicing

  • Functional testing and evaluation

This extended service is performed exclusively at the Malichus Service & Care Center in Jordan and applies only to watches purchased through authorized Malichus channels.

Total Coverage = 5 Years Warranty (2 Years International + 3 Years Malichus Service Care)

2. Warranty Limitations

The warranty—whether manufacturer or Malichus extended—will be void if the watch has been:

  • Modified, tampered with, or opened by an unauthorized party

  • Damaged due to misuse, impact, shock, or accidents

  • Exposed to water beyond its rated water-resistance level

  • Repaired outside an authorized service center

  • Used improperly or contrary to the product instructions

The warranty does not cover cosmetic deterioration such as scratches, discoloration, or strap wear.

3. Warranty Remedies

If a warranty claim is accepted, Malichus or the manufacturer will, at their discretion:

  1. Repair the defective watch at no cost; or

  2. Replace the watch with the same model or a comparable model; or

  3. Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.

These remedies are the sole and exclusive warranty solutions available.

Malichus and the manufacturer are not responsible for:

  • Incidental or consequential damages

  • Compensation for loss of time, loss of use, or personal inconvenience

Proof of purchase is required to proceed with any warranty claim.

4. Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, please email us or the brand’s official support team with:

  • Full name

  • Shipping address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Proof of purchase (receipt/order confirmation)

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or video of the defect (recommended)

5. Shipping for Warranty Repairs

You must send the watch securely packed (not in the original display box).
We recommend insuring the shipment against loss, damage, or theft.

  • Customer pays for shipping to Malichus.

  • Malichus/manufacturer covers return shipping for approved warranty repairs.

6. Repair Time

Most repairs are completed within 4–6 weeks, depending on parts availability, holidays, and service queue.
Additional time may be required for special or complex repairs.

7. Non-Warranty Repairs

If a defect is not covered under warranty, Malichus will provide:

  • A repair cost estimate

  • Expected repair time

  • Payment instructions

Repairs will only begin once the customer approves and pays for the quoted service.

8. Water Resistance Guidelines

Watches should only be exposed to water within their rated limits.

  • 3 ATM — Not suitable for submersion

  • 5 ATM — Hand washing / light rain

  • 10 ATM — Swimming / light water sports

  • 30 ATM — Professional diving

Regardless of water-resistance rating, never wear a watch in hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers.
