Editorial Policy

These principles govern everything we publish at Malichus.

1. Editorial independence

The decision on what we publish, and how we write it, rests with the editorial team. No advertiser or brand sees an editorial piece before publication, except to correct a factual error.

2. A clear commercial relationship

Every piece carries a clear label at the top: "Editorial"; "Affiliate link" where purchase links earn a commission; "In partnership" where there is a declared partnership; or "Advertisement" for paid material. An advertisement is never presented as editorial opinion.

3. Watches we sell and watches we don't

We write about watches we do not sell, and we say so explicitly in comparisons. Whatever we show in The Malichus Selection, we read about before we display it, and that never influences our assessment of the pieces we write about.

4. Accuracy and corrections

We rely on the specifications published by the brand and cite the source. If we make a mistake, we correct it and note both the correction and its date.
